Luckily I remembered about this today, I'm at my internship in my "office". Its more like the copy room the size of a closet. I'm working at a non-profit in town and its been ok so far, but its more PR/writingthan advertising so that's a little disappointing but I'm glad to be doing it for a good cause. The first few days here I felt like the guy from Office Space in the cluttered basement, but I'm getting used to it and was able to move some old stuff out of here. So now it feels a little bit more professional. However, the massive copy machine/printer still sits behind me and the constant drone of the damn thing does not stop....drives me insane! Then when I hear it starting up to print I know I'm about to meet someone new in the office. That's the only good thing about it, meeting my fellow co-workers as they come in to pick up their printed documents. And another thing, its so quiet here! Sometimes all I hear for hours is the copier and the click of the keyboard as I type....like now for instance! I need something entertaining to happen, thankfully I have class to look forward to tonight! haha

I enjoyed your blog because like yourself I am too cramped in a small office with the community office printer. In my time being here I have some how become the printer "engineer" and am called upon to fix all problems that come along with it, which are ALOT. I call it the "demon," simply because it causes more bad than good! But it is a good way to become better aquatinted w/your co-workers. Maybe one day when I ask someone for a rec letter they will think "she is rather resourceful she always knew how to fix the printer." Do what you can right?!
