Pot in Vending Machines

Libertarians are fond of imagining a Utopian future in which heroin will be available in vending machines.
California is, as usual, leading the way. At least some people (those who’ve gotten a doctor’s prescription), as of next Monday, will be able to purchase marijuana from at least two vending machine locations in Los Angeles:

Two medical marijuana dispensaries in Los Angeles have installed pot vending machines. They're accessible 24 hours a day and monitored by security guards. From Thrillist:
I have friends who smoke and they think this is a huge deal.
It's so new I'm not sure what to think about it.
My sister and I have never smoked before but we have mentioned that we will when we are old and dying. We will do it together and be high and happy...maybe we won't have to get it from our grandkids we can just do it legally. ha
Does anyone have a strong opinion about this???
