A relaxing weekend?

Hello all! I am currently sitting on my couch bored out of my mind and this is only day one of recovery. This morning I got my wisdom teeth taken out, yes all four. Of course they were impacted. So far it's not as horrendous as I had envisioned. For the first half of the day my anesthesia kept me on a nice little cloud. After that faded away my Mom shoved applesauce down my throat and gave me a nice little percocet. This is a magical pill I must say. So at this point I am tired of sitting, laying, playing Mario, and eating food fit for babies. I am always wishing for days where I can just lay around and do nothing, but when some come along like in this situation I have cabin fever before the first day is over. I guess it has been instilled in my brain and lifestyle that I am always to be on the go. My life works better that way. I have already started making up things I could be doing for school or future career so I don't feel completely useless this weekend. I guess some of us aren't supposed to sit still, and only do when we are forced to.

PS- I might look like a chipmunk on Tuesday. Just thought I would give all of you fair warning, and save myself from explaining why 25 times.

Everyone enjoy the weekend for me, eat something yummy, and have a cocktail for me:-)

A relaxing weekend?

I am so sorry. Having you wisdom teeth pulled is an awful experience. I've recently read some good no-brainer books. Email or call me if you want some recommendations.

Chelsee!!

I had my wisdom teeth out too this summer-- all four.

I feel your pain.

Smoothies, Frosty's and pudding helped me through and the Oxy of course.

I learned that if you have pain and the hardcore meds don't do anything to help it, you should call your surgeon because it could be a complication of some kind.

I'll see you Tuesday-hang in there:)
