I thought I would share this with the class as I saw some comment below about Reality TV. When I was in LA a couple weeks ago a reality show producer revealed the next show to hit his network that he was working on. It was so off the wall I couldn't believe how much trash is pouring out of Hollywood these days.
So anyways the next big reality show... LA prostitutes that want to be actresses but haven't made it yet are scooped up and given the chance to be formally trained by a world renown theatrical arts school. After training and given the skills needed we see if they have what it takes to make it.....
I think I just threw up in my mouth........

That is the most disgusting thing I heard. I already don't like reality TV shows and this is icing on the cake. There are so many things wrong with that concept. For instance:
1. Prostitution is illegal. Can't these women go to jail for admitting to prostitution.
2. What does that say about the quality of our actresses? It alludes to attresses as prostitutes or porn stars.
3. This is idealizing prostitutes. Prostitution is usually a mean of income for women who hit hard times and not something to be proud of.
4. How respectable would these women be if they are notable prostitutes?
5. Who would want to advertise during that show? I can see it now; all the commercials would be for condoms, the blue pills, Herpes medication, HIV & AIDs medication, anf PSAs for Safe Sex, HIV, STDs,and STIs.
I can go on. However, I am just disgusted. I hope this never get the green light.
