So this past weekend some lucky ad clubbers and I took a trip to Atlanta. The trip was amazing and so was the actual road trip. I was lucky to be in a car with some great friends that truly made that drive a lot of fun....which is good because I did notice that there was nothing to look at outside that car. The scenery was all the same: leafless trees, brown grass, pecan farms, and of course PEACHES!!! There weren't much billboards to read but when there were they were about peaches and/or pecans!!! I did appreciate that the advertising was very relevant to that market. It was fun to see the difference in what was being advertised in the rural areas compared to when we got to the city. In the rural there were mostly of ads for ad space and then a harley ad or two. In the city there were cars, stores, watches you name it. But the common denominator was peaches and Chick fil-a..and sometimes both!! THey even had a chick fil-a tower with a peach on top it...it was hilarious!!! Well anyway the trip was great im sure this blog will hear plenty more about it!!
