Sun Kissing The South Florida Skyline
I took a cruise over spring break, and of course, keeping to the creative side of things, I ripped apart the menu every night to see how creative the brilliant minds at Royal Caribbean Cruises Limited were. Lets just say I was quite appalled at some of the names of things on the menu. Let me put it this way, you're sitting down expecting a very formal dinner and you pick up a menu only to find items like "Filet of Beef" or "Shank of Lamb" (I kid you not, those were actual names). Honestly, I was expecting better from them, especially given the fact that its supposed to be cruise, not a cheap bar and grille down the way.
I've taken multiple cruises most of which fall into recent memory, but never could I remember a cruise line failing so horribly at coming up with creative names for the entrees on their menu, and while Royal Caribbean is notorious for their less than sub-par food, it doesn't mean that they can let up creatively either. Personally, I would have thought they would have want to have at least made up for their poor food quality with creative names or something that would leave a memory in a diner's mind, but no...Ironically though, the entire ship was themed creatively enough, and was artistically pleasing (Earth, Wind, and Fire seemed to be the common theme throughout in terms of the artwork).
With that, I'll leave you all with some of my own creative from the cruise. I took a good 500 or so pictures throughout, so I'll share one.
