Weekends go by too fast

I'm taking a break from my microeconomics homework to write this blog. Let me just express my hatred for microeconomics. This class is ridiculous - I have about 4 online quizzes due per week, all of the powerpoints are online, we have a textbook and study guide with practice problems and what not. On top of all of this, we have lecture 3 times a week. Are you kidding me? This class should be an online class, there is no need to drive 20 minutes to campus for a 50 minute lecture that I could've learned through the copious amount of information available to me through blackboard and the textbook.

I am currently watching Across The Universe and I love it! I love when different forms of expression are used together to tell a story. They've used dance, music, painting, split-screens and color effects...it's psychedelic. lol. I'm probably going to have to watch it again because I've been doing homework while watching it so I haven't been able to pay attention to all of its awesomeness.

This weekend I competed in my first Parliamentary Debate competition. I have just recently been thrown into this whole debate world and I felt very unprepared, however after my first debate I felt really good and was surprised at how well I had done. We had four rounds, back to back - it was about 6 hours of debating and I was relieved that I didn't make it to the semi-finals because we had no breaks and I was tired and starving. But I feel proud that I performed well and my teammate and I are totally pumped to keep growing and learning so we can dominate the next competition. And while I was waiting for the Gov't side to prepare their debate, I began chatting with the judge in the room and it turns out that he's a fashion photographer from India and he does all of the Fendi ads and the Dolce & Gabbana Gold ads. I was totally surprised. He said he gets to travel to Milan and Paris for all of the fashion shows. He's only been in America for 4 months but he's going to start working

Perhaps someone can answer me this - do I have to see the communications advisor that I was assigned to? Because I have Solomon and he is always too busy to see me and he's kind of a jerk. Any suggestions? I need to get my internship stuff cleared up ASAP!
