Last night definitely had some great and not-so-great Superbowl Ads, as expected. The not-so-great ones really got to me....$2.7 million right? It seemed like a waste of 30 seconds. I really want to make a reference to one but none of those bad ones are standing out in my mind right now.....Which goes to show that they left no lasting impression, no memorable brand. I'm sure this is also the case for many of you, so to refresh your memory go to myspace.com/superbowlads definitely check it out before you go to class.
One of my favorite ads last night was for Pepsi Stuff. It featured Justin Timberlake...which I'm sure will cause a lot of girls to say they loved it too. But besides the obvious reasons ;-) I really think they made good use out of that $2.7 million spot.
I kinda liked the Bridgestone tire ad. It was kinda cliche with the swerving off the road for the squirrel thing, but the screaming was so over the top and ridiculous that it stuck with me.
I was also a fan of the Audi and R8 spot. That shocks me I usually never pay too much attention to car ads. But I loved the whole dramatic Godfather thing.
Over dramatic screaming makes me giggle.
