Promotion Fail!

During a Rangers game this weekend, Nick proposed to Melissa in front of a live audience and at home television viewers. When Melissa saw that she was being proposed to, she got up and ran from Nick. Before you feel too bad for Nick, the whole thing was a huge hoax put on by a director, camera man, and producer. It was scripted. How did people find this out? The same exact promo was aired at a Tampa Bay Lightning Game!
To me this is an horrible situation for both the Tampa Bay Lightning and The Rangers. Not only should the skit be ran only once, but also, it shouldn't be aired on television if it is going to be in different markets. I understand that they were trying to lighten the mood for sports viewers at home on Valentines Day, but it was done horribly wrong. Now bloggers and tweeter alike are posting negative things about this epic fail.
