Thursday is Game Day!

It's hard to believe the semester is almost over and everything in CCII comes down to Game Day on Thursday. Call it Jump in the Pool Day, Call it the Superbowl of Advertising, College National Championship Day or Ready to Rumble Day, but whatever you call it, remember, it is competition at its best.

Plan smart, execute every detail and compent to perfection, practice, practice, practice and ... did I say practice? And when it's your turn to play, play like it's the biggest day of your life.

Oh yeah, and enjoy the challenge, learn from it and know whether you "win" or "lose" you will:

  1. Be better, stronger, smarter for it
  2. Live to see another day
  3. Never forget this Thursday (I still remember mine)

As a class, don't forget you are representing FSU. "Sparkle" for our guest "clients". They have flown in for the occasion, so let them know how much you appreciate their participation.

And, lastly, appreciate, respect and support each other. No matter what you thought this class would be like when you started, you have come to realize it was a journey to discover yourself.

To successfully complete this course you had to trust in yourself and each other. You had to practice teaming of the highest order and most of all, you had to learn how to hold yourself and your teammates accountable.

You have learned strengths you may never have known you had. You have discovered weaknesses that only you can fix, if you so choose.

And, you have discovered the opportunities that are waiting for you if you spread your creative wings and fly.

The thing is, when this course in self discovery is over, the journey continues. Fly high, fly where angles fear to tread and by all means, keep flying!

Maybe we should change the name of this class from CCII to Soaring.

Thursday is Game Day!
