Thomas Edison said it, I love it. And, so there are no "rules" as such.
However, the key to Edison's quote is "trying to accomplish something". Your first attempt doesn't meet that criteria. Your challenge is to do what you said you would do and write a blog that is relevant to you, your class and me. Reveal something about yourself. Find the answers to what creativity is, no matter what category it's applied to. Share a new idea with us. Let us in on something that has inspired you, taught you a lesson that might be worth our while to learn from, too ...
You said you were going to give blogging another go before this class.
If you did blog, that’s good. If you didn’t, then that's like missing a deadline. And, quality work, on time and within the budget is what drives everything we do in our category. You can do it ... just get the online corkboard idea off the table and start communicating. It is a discipline, and one that will serve you well, no matter where your path takes you.
Accomplish something. No rules. Just give us more of you.
I am looking forward to your being a part of our class.
