To all of you out there confused about blogging ...

Hey guys, the best advice I can give you is to take a look at some of the previous blogs. Also, take a look at our Catch Your Limit blog. Blogs are a way to express yourself or share something of interest with everyone else.

If you're having trouble blogging, you're probably thinking too much.

Occasionally, we'll have assignment blogs. But for now, just write about anything. If you're not sure what to write about, here are some ideas to get you started:

Who is the most creative person you know and why?
What do you want to be when you grow up?
What inspires you?
What makes you sad?
Is there a current event that you have opinions about? Maybe the presidential election? Global warming?
Do you have a favorite artist, writer, photographer, musician that inspires/moves you?

The one thing we would ask is make your blog something that is worthy of your time and the reader(s). A couple of sentences about absolutely nothing doesn't cut it. But, a couple of sentences about something funny, interesting, different could be all you need to get your point across. And, no pressure, but remember you're writing something the entire world can see.

If you're still confused, don't try to do an assignment and not know what you're doing or why you're doing it and don't wait until Tuessday night to ask questions (that's one of our greatest pet peeves) ... just give one of us a call - 894.3474 or you have all of our cell numbers on your syllabus.

Have a great holiday weekend1
