Gunman Opens Fire on Illinois Campus
What is up with this world? I feel as if it's Columbine again in the sense that after the VT shooting murder suicides are occuring at various universities. This is valentine day, a day of love, ended as a day of mourning. Appararently:
" DEKALB, Ill. (Feb. 14) - A former student dressed in black opened fire with a shotgun and two handguns from the stage of a lecture hall at Northern Illinois University on Thursday, killing five students and injuring 16 others before committing suicide, authorities said."
A guy murders people for no rhyme of reason. The worst part is that it's the fourth shooting in a week time span. Events such as this make me question the safety of our schools.

The shooting really hit home with me. My cousin attends NIU and in fact had that very same GEO class last semester.
After some panicked moments we found out that he was just fine and locked down in an adjacent building.
Another school tragedy and more questions about why.
