Cleaning out my closet

So being this close to the end of the semester I have found myself absolutely completely broke... like to the point at Relay for Life this weekend I had to enjoy te rain versus buy a bottle of water....Ya I know, its PATHETIC. But since we got rained out and told to go home at 7am instead of 11am, and then rained the entirety of the next day I decided to do some spring cleaning. Kind of an awkward time seeing as move-out in in three weeks, but there you are. So while cleaning out my closet I found a bag I have not used almost all semester and when I opened it I found not only a gift card to TCBY but a $5 bill. It was probably the happiest moment all day.... But more importantly in cleaning out my closet I got in the mood to clean out my desk, my computer, and my dresser. And when I cleaned out some of these items, I found stuff I had almost completely forgotten about. Like in my computer, I found a novel I wrote when I was 13 that was about 500 pages long. Back then I did it for simply a hobby, you know writing. It was fun. Why can't I seem to get into it nowadays? Here I am now being a late blogger once again and pulling teeth to figure out what to write. If this had been an assignment five years ago it would have been the coolest thing ever. I used to love writing. What the heck happened?! I'm hopefully, better at it now than I was back then so you would think I would enjoy it more. So I spent the rest of my day wracking my mind as to what made me hate writing. ...then an epiphany came. The dreaded FCAT. That's why I hated writing. In my mind writing is supposed to be a form of expression in how you feel or what you know about a certain topic and how does one grade that? I just spent liek half an hour trying to find it and failed- but it all reminds me of a Peanuts cartoon where Charlie's little sister (the name I'm guessing is Sally but I cannot remember) comes home and has managed to fail her art class and after some banter with Charlie she exclaims she cannot figure out how one grades an art class. So my ultimate question, one I'm hoping someone from this class can answer... How does one grade creativity?

And this has nothing to do with the previous post, I just thought I would share it with you. These are picutres of my puppies last time I saw them, in March. This is a picture of them I got sent to me last night....THEY ARE HUGE!! In only one month they have both grown about 10 pounds!!!
