I recently join an organization on campus dealing with women empowerment and the issues we face in today's society. I am in charge of coming up with event ideas but seem to have run into a road block if you will. I have the basics such as domestic violence, gender wage gap in the work force, and inter-personal issues.
I am calling upon you all for assistance!!! Women have ISSUES ... what are they? Any and all ideas are more than welcomed; no idea is too small. Let me know what you think.
PS: Here is the purpose of the organization. Hope it helps you with some perspective and brain storming:
"The purpose shall be to raise awareness and dialogue on a series of issues ranging from violence against women to social injustice to the broader Florida State University community both on and off campus by working with and conducting service events in the cultural, social, and educational spectrums."

What about the issue of very opinionated women being considered "bitches?" OH and you can do business women who are considered gold diggers, just because their husbands are rich too. People thinking that pretty women are stupid and ugly women are anti social. You should watch The Office, season 3 episode 20. It's called "Women's Appreciation" it might help you think of something cool to do. Also, look up some of the things that people say about Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton. There is a lot of media/ criticism about these women as leaders. They are very different, so you might get some good stuff. Hope this helps!
