GIRL POWER!!!

For all you girls out there that are intereseted, FSU has a chapter (thanks to my roomie)of the National Organization For Women a.k.a "NOW". NOW's purpose is to take action to bring women into full participation in the mainstream of American society now. NOW promotes equal partnership with men with respect to citizenship, public service, employment, education, and family life. We also strive to advocate freedom from discrimination because of age, race, marital status, sexual orientation or parenthood. It is a great way to get involved on campus and stand up for something that you are passionate about. Spread the word and invite your friends to join! This week NOW is participating in activites for Violence Awareness week. Below is a list of the events! Our meetings are every Wednesday at 8pm in Bellamy 114, so come out and join us...everyone is welcomed!
