You Should Know...

When I ran across this information, I immediately thought of Savannah's presentation...what is the most creative agency. Well, these might not be the most creative in your mind; however, here are some pretty interesting updates from two agencies. I just thought you should know...

TBWA Worldwide has won the 600 million dollar Visa global creative account. This comes after Visa decided to consolidate all it’s global efforts into one agency. The competing agencies all had a piece of Visa somewhere in the world. The finalists included the likes of BBDO, Grey, and Leo Burnett. (This campaign includes a really cool picture of a female gymnist from the Bejing Olympics...I couldn't get it to up load.)

Element 79, part of Omnicom Group, lost their last connection to PepsiCo with the loss of Quaker Oats. They were not invited to the review. This reported $120 Million account along with the other PepsiCo accounts, dropped from Element 79 earlier this year, combines an estimated $440 Million loss for the company. It is unsure whether this six year old company will be able to survive as an independent agency.
