Clean Up on Isle...?

What does it take these days to get your ad noticed by millions? Fresh ideas are hard to come by and are often criticized by "traditionalists." With the general public's attention span rapidly decreasing, companies are having to think bigger and better. The "out of the box" ideas are coming to be some of the only ways to actually get the public to listen. All the other ads are just becoming pollution. The creative team at Bounty understood this concept fully when they thought of their "Big Spills" campaign...

On 7th Avenue in New York, Bounty placed a 6 foot tall coffee cup knocked over and spilling onto the sidewalk-complete with steam and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee! In LA, they put a 7 foot long, 550 pound melting popsicle in the middle of a busy shopping street. Their tagline you ask..."Makes small work of BIG spills." GENIUS, if you ask me! How entertaining is this? It's like a childhood dream come true. What would you do if you saw this while walking down the street? I know what I would do...instantly run inside that coffee cup and pretend I was the queen of my very own Coffee Kingdom. Or maybe I would slip and slide down the popsicle...the possibilities are truly endless! A round of applause to the people at Bounty. Hmm, now only if I could get them to come to FSU...
