Karma.

So my my roommate and I have a running joke/pranking streak going on with our neighbors. It all began when they started putting their trash in our apartment and on our front door. We then retaliated by taping an old lettuce head to their door and sidewalk chalking their doorstep with the word "owned." Fast forward six months; it was our turn again and we decided to plan our attack on their cars (harmless attacks of course). Considering that Charlie (neighbor number 1) had class in the morning, we went for the lesser of two evils, and postit note-d his car; while Townshend (neighbor number 2) got the clingwrap.

Now, with as much effort (and money) we put into this endeavor, we had just as much fun, and their reactions were well worth the exertion; however, it was just lonely old ME who paid the price.
The next morning I woke up to a monsoon. When I realized that the post-its were still on poor Charlie's car, I felt horrible. He was going to wake up at the normal time for class, walk out, and not be able to drive to school because rain+posits+car=postits matted down on car. So there I was, my guilty conscious personified as an angel on one of my shoulders telling me to go clean the car for him, and the devilish sleepy Siobhan on the other shoulder telling me to go back to sleep cause it was 9:00 in the morning on a day with no classes. Of course, me being the awesome (and guilty) best friend that I am, got out of bed, grabbed an umbrella and a hoodie, and went to work. I stood out in the rain storm for 45 minutes, individually pulling off mini posit notes, then going back and scrubbing of the glue strip that was stuck on the car due to the rain. Needless to say, Charlie got to class on time, and I got sick...awesome. (It was still worth it though.)
