Will it be paper, plastic or A DOLLAR?

'Going Green' has taken on a whole new meaning. Target, the fifth largest retailer will soon be announcing their plan to stop global waste. Last year alone, an estimated 500 BILLION plastic bags (around 1 million per minute) were manufactured and distributed. This shocking number equates to the average family consuming 60 plastic bags in just four trips. Between plastic bags, candy wrappers, cigarette butts, litter is accumulating at a staggering rate. Waste spills into the ecosystem posing the biggest threat to marine-mammals who mistakenly eat plastic bags they see waving in the ocean. Target has taken the initiative and will soon be announcing their plan to discount all products by $0.05 for customer's opting out of a plastic bag. Buying five items could give you a quarter for parking (an hour in Tallahassee) all for stuffing your items in a purse...or man bag. Cool, right? CVS is taking a similar approach giving customers even more. Rewarding you for bringing your own bag, CVS will give back $1 for every fourth time you shop. Why not get money back on spent cash? Washington D.C. has taken a completely different approach to the issue CHARGING customers five or ten cents per plastic bag. FLORIDIANS, bank. Turn going green into accumulating green...
