Cover Up Your Neck!

Recently Italian research believed to have uncovered a female "vampire," dating back to the sixteenth century. The object that is in the skull's mouth to the left is a brick. This was a ritual that was developed based on the medieval belief that vampires were the cause of the spread of the plague. By jamming the brick in it's mouth, people believed the vampires couldn't feed off of people. This is the first evidence of this ritual to date.
