Embrace Change 2009

I was looking on AdWeek at the "Ads of the Day" and came across one that was posted in January. The campaign is called "Embrace Change 09" that was created by IKEA, in honor of President Obama. Ikea's advertising includes an oval office replica in Washington D.C's Union Station using IKEA's furniture as well as billboards and ads on metros. There is also an interactive website, embracechange09.com, were you can furnish the oval office yourself with IKEA furniture. I think this idea is very creative on IKEAs part because it is showing low price furniture that is affordable in our economy, but also has great quality which is good enough for Obama. The oval office setup in the Union Station is such a unique non-traditional medium and was very clever. I just LOVE IKEA! So much, my whole room is furnished with IKEA.
