Madagascar the Escape

Over spring break My family watched Madagascar 2 Escape To Africa and it was amazing. The original was a hysterical tale of animals escaping from a zoo in New York and trying to find their way to the wild. This squeal chronicles their misadventures while attempting to journey home. This film is a prime example of how animated movies which are traditionally viewed as entertainment for children are now being viewed by broader audiences. With witty repartee as well as slapstick comedy this is one cartoon that can be enjoyed by parents and children alike. Even if the "children" are in college, over 18 and home for spring break.
