A true lyrical genius

Bo Burnham is a singer-songwriter, Internet celebrity and the love of my life. He is also 18 years old, but I don't care. He is amazing. In his comedic songs he tackles such topics as race, gender, human sexuality and sex. He takes an obviously politically incorrect stance which only serves to amp up the satire. His lyrics are smart and witty. His verbal irony truly makes you think, although not usually in an entirely serious manner. He commonly writes and sings about how his family believes he is gay, white supremacy and even Helen Keller's disabilities. While the words themselves can be at times hilariously disturbing, the music is wholesome. Bo accompanies himself on guitar or electric piano. The musical tone is always catchy and upbeat, allowing lyrics about statutory rape to stick easily in your head. He describes his music as "pubescent musical comedy" and I agree. His musical delivery is similar to that of a Broadway performer. For an 18 year old, he has already done exceptionally well. Not only is he a YouTube hit, but he just made a deal with Comedy Central. I think that's a pretty solid characteristic in a future husband. Check out one of my favorites:
