How excited are all of us for this upcoming Spring Break??? Since we have all had multiple days to allow our budgets to adjust, I think we are all ready to finally hit those beaches literally all over the world. The countdown has begun for me and I am at 50 hours and 27 minutes until my flight from Tallahassee takes off... to go to Atlanta, which will then leave at 6PM to Madrid and finally arriving in Beautiful BARCELONA on Friday at 12PM [by the way so worth it]. Funny thing is, that flight was probably my most cost efficient flight. I am also going to the Grand Canary Islands (Maspalomas part of the multiple islands) and I found my flight for 60 Euro each way on Clickair.com.

SPRING BREAK: Cheap Flights... I think NOT!
Well it started at 52 Euro each way, but I can completely except the extra 8 Euro for taxes. Since this spring break is going to definitely be on the pricier side I decided not to pay the extra 15 Euro for travel insurance (So lets all keep our fingers crossed that I will not need it). I am still debating on the extra 10 Euro for luggage... can I really pack 10KG or less for my carry on? Hmm... one of the boots I want to bring are on the heavier side; might just have to wear them on the plane [heels and all]. I click on the continue button to eventually get to the payment page, but then they ask me where I want to sit [...of course I want a window], but then it is going to cost me an extra 3 Euro to choose where I want to sit. In the end, what I originally thought was 60 Euro came out to, on the cheapest side, 75 Euro (So NOT Legit).
If any of you have ever flown the cheapest airline in Europe, known as Ryanair, you might find this article below pretty entertaining since they literally charge for EVERYTHING possible. They are now thinking about charging to use the bathroom, literally for each flush. Next, they will probably start charging for putting the wheels down in order to land the plane! So next time you think you really found that cheap flight, take another look because most likely that original price is definitely not your paying price.
Spring Break is here... so just enjoy! I know I am not leaving until I am at least 3 shades darker. And if I don't come back ridiculously tan, then you know why I am not back at FSU... either that or travel insurance.
