Be safe!

So if any of you were on Tennessee street this past Saturday around noon then you would have seen a huge motorcycle crash taking up all three lanes of traffic. Well the boy on the motorcycle was my ex boyfriend and he's very lucky that he is not dead and reason he isn't dead is mostly because the safety gear he was wearing. This whole experience has changed the way i look at things drastically and i pray that none of you have to feel how i felt when i saw his body in the middle of the street when i arrived. If you ride a motorcycle or even a scooter there is so many ways to protect yourself from hard. Most people just have helmets and maybe a riding jacket. Luckily Nick also had armor that covered his front and back. It cushioned his fall (not a lot but enough)when he hit the pavement that his most serious injuries were a lacerated liver and a bruised lung. Most people that saw the crash though he was dead and to tell you the truth when i first got to the scene which was not long after impact i thought that he was going to be a lot worse off. If i had just seen Nick bike alone i would of thought he was dead. It was definitely the most scared I've ever been in my life. i just want everyone to try to be as safest as possible. I know we are in college and you want to have fun but its also about how you effect other people. Please be safe! This picture below is the picture of his bike that i took on my phone right before we left to follow the ambulance to the Hospital. ( the whole front is missing)
