This past Friday, I went to Railroad Square and visited all the different galleries. There was one gallery that stood out the most and that one had all the atypical pieces of art. There were little branch stumbs protruding out of the wall and at the end of each stump was a black and white picture burned into the wood. There was also a room full of artsy pictures hanging on clotheslines. Some were really good and some were odd, but nevertheless, a piece of art to some people. Walking around the galleries was just so liberating because you have to be openminded about the pieces of work and figure out what the artist is trying to convey. It really gets the creative juices flowing. While we were there, we got to paint with glowpaint. It was really fun and I recommend that everyone check out First Friday!!!
