Something I didn't expect...
Spider-man, is being made into a Broadway Musical (?!)
The show, to be called "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark," will be opening on February 18, 2010 for those interested..
I don't know if people have just run out of ideas, but it kind of seems like a strange idea for a Broadway show. Who knows, maybe it will be a masterpiece, but probably not...
"The production will be directed by Julie Taymor, who helmed Disney's epic musical adaptation of The Lion King. All the music for the production will be done by U2's Bono and The Edge."
A lot of big people are a part of it, so I'm curious to see how it turns out. My Spidey senses are tingling..
