Skate or Die

You don't have to be an actual skateboarder to be a fan of the Nike SB (Skateboarding) collection. This line of shoes, which adds to its library with the introduction of a new set of kicks a few times a year tends to never skip a beat. From my personal favorite, the "Lobsters" to every beer lover's dream, the "Heinys", the shoes always reach a new audience with their already expanding group of followers. They even go as far as to mix it up with the idea of the product. For instance, there's the "Freddy Kruegers", which have the design of the killer's skin on the bottom of the pair, "McFly Zooms", which is inspired from Marty's kicks from Back to the Future 2, and the "Skate or Die Dunks", which were encouraged from the 1987 video game of the same name. All these shoes are a mere fraction of what's come out. And considering the idea that everytime one of these shoes are released there's a massive line awaiting their arrival, it seems there's no end in sight.

Now for a little history lesson. These shoes didn't become popular overnight. It took an artist named Paul Rodriguez who was signed in 2004 to provide some fame to the game of this collection. Nicknamed P-Rod, Paul is a professional skateboarder who appeared in several of the X Games held nowadays by ESPN.

There's one thing left to do...buy a pair, and trust me, there's one out there for everyone and anyone.
