The Lighter Side of Identity Theft

No, lie, about a week ago, a good friend of mine was the victim of identity theft. We were out at Bird's Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack over on Bronough for a weekly meet-up. He tried to order a basket of fries but was told his card had been declined. When he called his credit card company, he discovered someone had obtained his information, and started wildly charging up everything from a new Dell laptop and clothes from Old Navy, to somehow racking up over $100 on match.com.

while a serious subject, you would have to know my friend to understand how hilarious this is. He is the absolute last person to ever venture onto match.com.

Anyway, now, sometime later, I see this commercial that I think is going to sell me a car, yet the copy at the end of it talks about identity theft.
