Doodles 4 Google

All of my notes used to be covered in doodles, so much so that I take all my notes via computer now. I was on Google today and discovered the Doodle 4 Google contest. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to enter because its limited to K-12. But everyone needs to take the time to look at the previous winners. My favorite is the "What if Artificial Intelligence flourished?" pictured at the right. Notice each body part fused with a robotic influence.

The theme of the contest was What if...? The artist of this Google Doodle was inspired by the idea of machines becoming intertwined into our own  beings. It is interesting to see the differences in ideas between each individual entry and age groups. The winners get a college scholarship and technology grants for their schools.

The most moving entries are those made by the kindergarten through third grade level, who want peace, friendship and to take care of the environment. It put things in perspective when six year olds realize what is important in the world, having barely experienced it themselves.
