nike id

I recently got a new sports watch, it was supposed to be for Christmas but it took a while to get here since it was ordered through Nike Id. I know NIke has had the customizing shoes in the New York store, but I'm just now discovering the online part to it and that they have so many more options and products. I think they should maybe advertise for the Nike Id a little more, (unless they do and I just haven't seen it.) People would probably enjoy picking what colors and styles they want, it's a great way to please the consumer. I got to choose what colors I wanted for each part of the watch and I even got to personalize it with my initials. I think this is a great idea that Nike is incorporating into their products. http://nikeid.nike.com/nikeid/index.jhtml?sitesrc=USLP. If you go to the website it allows you to customize shoes, watches, tshirts, equipment for men, women and kids. Nike even has their own design consultants that you can have one on one sessions with! I know someone who went to Niketown to the Nike Id Studio in New York to pick his colors, materials, and style of shoe customized to his wants. He got those old school flat nikes from a while ago. I can see where this appeals to the shoe enthusiast in particular, who collects shoes or enjoys the old or unique ones. It would also greatly appeal to those like me, who love sports and nike apparel. I was so excited when I got my watch! I might even customize my own shoes now, or something. Start training in your own customized style!

Also going along with the nike theme- i love this nike commercial, I can totally relate to the whole girl thing and sports. I've played so many sports growing up and loved the day to day training and team bonding and I really miss it and sometimes look back and wish I would've done a college sport. I played varsity tennis, basketball and softball in high school. Also played soccer from when i was 5 til my freshman year of high school and swam year round when I lived in clearwater when I was little. I used to look at nike and gatorade commercials and dream (still dream) that one day I would be working on those!
