The other weekend I was down in Miami at my best friends house, Lara, and we were going to have our traditional Sunday Funday BBQ at her house. Its quite the event, since her whole family does take part in it each week. Each week we have a different theme from Italian to German, and of course, we get really into the theme by making food, drinks, decorations, and games that correlate with whatever theme it is that week.
That Sunday when I was down, the theme was Dutch, and I really did not know what kind of food we were going to be having, but I figured I would enjoy the surprise. My best friends mom gave us a list of what we needed to get so she could master her Dutch cooking. We knew we definitely needed to get some Heineken since is it Dutch. As soon as we were almost out the door we hear her dad scream for- yes, I am going to quote him- "Don't forget to get me some EFFEN Vodka!"
At first I could not believe that he actually just screamed that to us since he happens to be a pretty conservative dad, but then I remembered that his favorite vodka happens to be EFFEN vodka. Obviously we got him the EFFEN vodka, which happened to be the most suitable since it also was Dutch.
I have always thought their ad campaign has been impressively original. Take a look at one of their more recent EFFEN ads...
