Last Friday I went to the opening of the new exhibit from The Greenhouse Project that will be showing in the Union Gallery in Ogelsby Union until Feb. 13.
The art was done primarily by children from the Greenhouse Orphanage in Uganda. My friend's sister is a Senior art student here at FSU, and she received a grant to teach art to the kids in Africa. There are a few photographs of hers on display too.
I highly recommend going to see it! It is great example of what creativity with a little motivation can do, and its always nice to support a fellow seminole :) Prints are available for sale, and the proceeds go to help the orphanage.
