Trillon Dollar Campaign (for a cause)

In honor of my soon-to-be internship agency, I decided I'd post the creative campaign generation for their campaign that earned them a Gran Prix at the Cannes awards last year. TBWA\HUNT\LASCARIS created a campaign to increase awareness about their absurdly inflated currency. Their client was the Zimbabewean newspaper, and their campaign served as a protest against Zimbabwe's president, Mugabe, and his negative impact against the economy.

This campaign is very gutsy, and deliberately criticizes the government. They are the first campaign to convey a message ON currency, and create billboard made from currency bills, expanding using several different vehicles. I'm honored to work at this agency this summer, and as an advertising student I'm proud that advertising can communicate such a strong message to an entire country and the rest of the world for that matter.

Check it out for yourself!
