Genetically Altered Animals as Food?

The FDA is letting farmers alter their animals by pumping them with chemicals to make them grow in half the amount of time. Altering these animals could make a reduced-waste producing pig or a fish that has grown in 18 months instead of three years. The FDA is also not required to label the food that has been altered. Pretty much.. there is a really good chance that the meal I just ordered today at Chick-Fil-A contained a piece of this chicken to the left, WOOF.
