Oak Tree From Tuesday’s Class

Remember that oak tree that Tom spoke about last class? Well, I think I found it! Thursday morning I stepped out of the Student Life Building on campus and directly in front of it was a GIANT oak tree being relocated. It was a big affair--there were guys in hard-hats everywhere, even President TK showed up to watch. If you look closely you can see the logs underneath it. I drove by the SLB again this evening and the tree is still there… it’s going to take a while for them to move it, so if anyone wants to see it, there’s still time!

And to answer Craig’s question, my weekend was fantastic! I was home in Miami. I learned how to put shutters up, visited family, and enjoyed an early surprise birthday dinner.
