3D Epidemic

Mostly everyone in Florida has been to the 3D show 'Honey I shrunk the Kids' at Universal Studios, but I bet not many of you know that the NFL aired one of its games in 3D this past season. Movie theaters in Boston, New York, and Los Angeles were overrun with future enthusiast looking to see the future of not just NFL viewing but television viewing in general. The Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers game was riddled with cameras specially designed to catch an image and immediately make it 3D for a live audience. As well as the NFL going 3D, numerous movies have recently been released in 3D; such as Grendel, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and My Bloody Valentine. This technology has been around for a while, but just now are companies beginning to use it. I expect this trend to keep growing due to the positive reviews of 3D events and also giving the chance for people to experience something new. All of these steps are eventually going to lead to 3D television, which would be awesome. Guys could watch the "Girls Next Door" show in 3D and girls can watch "Greys Anatomy", everyone will be happy.
