What's Creative About Blood?

Funny video. But seriously...

I was watching an old re-run of a UFC fight late last week. It was the original BJ Penn/Georges St. Pierre fight. It just so happened that I was feeling particularly open-minded, as well as wondering what I would be blogging about for my first post.

As the fight progressed, I noticed all the spilled blood still obviously staining the bottom of the Octagon that the fighters were wrestling in. This hardly seemed sanitary or aesthetically pleasing to me, so I found my mind beginning to wander. Just what exactly does the poor clean-up crew use to clean up all this blood? More than that, who makes whatever chemical it is that they use?

How would they get the word out about their product?

What if, in addition to all these big-name sponsors that line the fence inside the Octagon, there suddenly arose a new name...something like "Blood-be-Gone," or "Democratic Blood Remover-Gets the Red Out." Ok, probably something more clever and less Politically incorrect would be better, but I imagine that this would be a great way to sell this product.

Not only would the major casinos and other venues that host these kind of fights buy this blood-remover in bulk, but gyms all across the country would also snatch up this name-brand chemical in droves.

The Mixed Martial Arts scene is growing rapidly, and when Advertisers begin to learn how to tap into this market, and meet their unique needs, the potential profit to be had is obvious.
